Children's Classes at Diamonds
At Diamond Dancentre, our children’s Ballroom and Latin classes are designed to inspire confidence, creativity, and a love of dance in a fun and supportive environment. From complete beginners to more experienced young dancers, pupils develop technique, rhythm, coordination, and performance skills while progressing through examinations under our recognised examining body if they wish to. Our classes encourage friendships, discipline, and enjoyment, helping every child shine on and off the dance floor.

Under 7's
Our Under 7’s class is a fun and friendly introduction to Ballroom and Latin dancing, designed especially for young beginners.
Children will learn basic dance steps, rhythm, coordination, and confidence in a supportive environment, while developing technique and musicality.
As they progress, pupils will work towards taking their Rosette examinations under our recognised examining body, celebrating their achievements every step of the way.

8-11 Years
Our 8–11 years class builds on the foundations of Ballroom and Latin dancing, introducing more advanced steps, technique, timing, and performance skills in a fun and encouraging environment.
Dancers will continue to develop confidence, coordination, and musicality while taking on more challenging routines and partner work.
As they progress, pupils will work towards Rosette and Stardance examinations under our recognised examining body, rewarding their hard work and achievements along the way.

12 - 15 Years
Our 12–15 years class is designed for dancers ready to take their Ballroom and Latin training further, with a stronger focus on technique, style, musical interpretation, and performance quality.
Students will learn more advanced routines and develop confidence, discipline, and presentation skills in a motivating and supportive atmosphere.
Dancers will continue working towards examinations under our recognised examining body, helping them progress and achieve new milestones in their dancing journey.
