covid-19 measures at the studio

  • To avoid cases of COVID-19 within the Dancentre, social distancing of 1 metre plus will be maintained throughout. 

  • Only people from the same household will be permitted to dance together.


  • Please do not come to the studio if you or any of your household display symptoms. If you or anyone in your household display COVID19 symptoms up to 7 days after your visit please inform us immediately.  


  • If you feel unwell at the studio, please inform a member of staff and you will be able to move to the isolation area.


  • There is a oneway system round the studio.  


  • Entry will be via the shop front door or the white double doors on Queens Road and you will leave the studio through the fire exit at the rear, through the gated passage onto Camp Road.


  • Please be prompt for all timings. Customers must only arrive at start time but be ready to leave the premises at the end. 


  • Time has been allowed to change shoes in your allocated seating in the studio. 


  • Between classes/lessons, the studio will be wiped down.


  • As you come into the studio, your temperature will be taken. 


  • Please ensure we have contact details for each person entering the studio, to enable us to follow the Government’s Track and Trace service. Please use our QR code supplied by the government. 


  • Please use the “Sanitising Station” which is set up for all customers and staff to use to wash their hands before entering the main hall. 


  • Hand wipes and anti-bac will be available for customers. 


  • We ask that all customers over the age of 11, wear a face covering until the class or lesson starts. Spectators must wear theirs throughout, unless medically exempt. 


  • Please only bring with you what you need for your dance lesson and do not spread out in the seating areas which you will be directed to. The chairs in the hall are appropriately distanced, please don’t move them. 


  • At times where spectators are allowed into the studio, please be mindful to book your place. Spaces are limited to one spectator in these circumstances. 


  • Take turns to use confined spaces such as corridors and toilet areas. 


  • Pre-packaged drinks can be purchased at the studio.


  • The Dancentre has a full policy, which is available on request.
