covid-19 measures at the studio

  • You will notice some differences as you return to the studio.  To avoid cases of COVID-19 within the Dancentre, social distancing will be maintained throughout. We will class social distancing as 1 metre plus. Only people from the same household will be permitted to dance together.

  • Please do not come to the studio if you or any of your household display symptoms. If you or anyone in your household display COVID19 symptoms up to 7 days after your visit please inform us immediately.  If you feel unwell at the studio, please inform a member of staff and you will be able to isolate in the shop area whilst awaiting collection.

  • The main shop will remain closed. There will be a oneway system round the studio.  Entry will be via the white double doors on Queens Road, and you will leave the studio through the fire exit at the rear, through the gated passage onto Camp Road.

  • Please be prompt for all timings.  Customers must only arrive at start time but be ready to leave the premises at the end. Time has been allowed to change shoes in your allocated seating in the studio.  Between classes/lessons, the studio will be wiped down.  If you are staying for back to back sessions, you may be asked to move.

  • As you come into the studio, your temperature will be taken.  Please ensure we have contact details for each person entering the studio, to enable us to follow the Government’s Track and Trace service.

  • A “Sanitising Station” will be set up that is mandatory for all customers and staff to use to wash their hands before entering the main hall.  Hand wipes and anti-bac will be available for customers.

  • Customers can choose to use facemasks if they wish.

  • Please only bring with you what you need for your dance lesson and do not spread out in the seating areas which you will be directed to.  Please leave 2 chair distance between different households.

  • Only 1 spectator per dancer will be permitted in the studio.

  • Take turns to use confined spaces such as corridors and toilet areas. Standing or sitting next to someone is lower risk than opposite them, briefly passing someone in a confined space is low risk.

  • Pre-packaged drinks can be purchased at the studio.

  • If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask. A copy of the full policy is available on request. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Diamond Dancentre Studio.
